About Rachel Roth

Rachel Roth joined the American Conference of Cantors in August 2007 as the Managing Director. Since joining the ACC, Rachel has been involved in the planning and oversight of the ACC/GTM Conventions, the design of the new ACC website, participated in the Strategic Development Task Force, the "To God's Ears" concert and documentary project in Rome, Italy, and many other projects. Rachel is also advising the Convention Committees working on future ACC/GTM Conventions. Before coming to the ACC, Rachel was the Temple Administrator of Temple Kol Ami Emanu-El of Plantation, Florida. Originally from Chicago, Rachel moved to Florida to pursue a career in commercial property management, which eventually led to her career choice in the world of Jewish Communal Service. Rachel is a member of NATA, the National Association of Temple Administrators. Upon returning to Chicago, Rachel has returned to her roots in the Chicago-area Jewish Community. She and her husband, Jonathan, are active members of Temple Chai in Long Grove, Illinois. A graduate of Indiana University, Rachel is an active member of the Journalism School's alumni association. She lives in Suburban Chicago with Jonathan and their Chesapeake Bay Retriever, Ellie.
